The WRETMAN COMPANY was founded in 1973, by Dick Wretman (our namesake), and John Hawkins. John’s oldest son Paul came on board in 1980. At the same time the Hawkins Family bought out Dick Wretman. John Hawkins retired in 1983, and the youngest Hawkins, David, joined the company. In 1987 David and Paul Hawkins bought D&M ASSOCIATES, also a long-standing rep agency in the area.

Thomas Hawkins, Paul’s oldest son, joined in 2001 and has trained in both inside and outside sales. He has proven himself to be an asset to the company in both areas.

We travel Kansas and Western Missouri, up to and including the Jefferson City-Columbia area. We call on all of the wholesale distributors in this territory, and sell something to all of them. This includes Water Works, Water Well, Industrial, as well as Plumbing and Heating Accounts. We call on Engineers and issue a quotation on all appropriate projects to the Commercial Wholesaler.

Our office is located in Olathe, Kansas, a suburb of the Kansas City metropolitan area.
